Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers nice and modern rooms, a good size for a short stay with great facilities, and relatively quiet despite its location. However, the rooms were not as renovated as pictured in the ads and were overlooking the car park, making them a bit dark. The lack of enough hangars, absence of a mini bar, and slightly outdated decor were minor downsides.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The overall place was professionally done up and clean, away from the noise, with views to the harbor. The rooms were really comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which caused some delays upon arrival. However, the rooms are spacious, quiet, and located perfectly. The service was pleasant and accommodating, with a great location within walking distance of attractions. The dining options were basic, but sufficient. The hotel boasts a fantastic location near the Auckland waterfront and is ideal for attending CBD events.
The hotel is in a superb location, right in the heart of shopping, just a 5-minute walk from the SkyCity Hotel where we celebrated. The rooms are fantastic after the refurbishment, spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you could need. The service is outstanding, with the concierge providing excellent advice and making us feel genuinely welcome. However, the dining experience lacked originality and local products. The location is perfect, walking distance to the CBD and surrounded by dining and bar venues.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel is impressively clean and has a great lounge/dining area that suited our group perfectly. However, the rooms weren't ready upon our arrival despite the supposed 2 pm check-in time, leading to a bit of a wait.
The hotel is right in the heart of Queen Street, which is like the Oxford Street of London, making it excellent for exploring the city center and close to key attractions. The rooms are world-class and well laid out, offering a comfortable stay. The service provided is top-notch with a friendly and helpful staff that goes above and beyond. However, the dining experience, while extensive, may vary in quality, and there are additional transaction charges for international visitors.
Staying at the hotel was a real treat! The rooms were surprisingly quiet given the bustling location, perfect for our family. They were clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking and laundry. The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The central location made exploring the city effortless, with easy access to shopping and dining. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, especially considering the high rates. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay.
The hotel had some fantastic highlights, like one of the best beds I've ever slept in and the top-floor washing facilities, making it incredibly comfortable overall. However, the boxed-in view from the low-level room was a bit claustrophobic and disappointing at times.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were large and cozy with a separate bedroom, living room, kitchenette, and in-room laundry, but unfortunately, there was a horrible musty smell present. The service was top-notch as they arranged a shuttle to the airport and accommodated our request for a lower floor apartment. The location was ideal for exploring the city center, being right on Queen St, but some may find it less appealing compared to other inner-city suburbs. The dining options were good, offering a superb breakfast selection, but the menu could have been more diverse. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service, yet some areas could be improved.
